SEPARATED THINKING OR ONE WITH JESUS?
In John 17:20-22, Jesus prayed for his disciples and all believers, "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one ... NKJV
Where is Jesus right now? Do you readily picture Christ in YOU! the hope of glory? Or does it seem like He is outside you, behind you, just kind of with you or actually far away in the Heavens? When the pressure is on, do you picture Jesus ... with all power and knowledge... all the fruit of the Spirit ... and all the spiritual gifts ... inside you?
1 Cor 6:17 says, "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." Do you believe your personal spirit can be one spirit with His?
What is the ultimate spiritual reality? Is it (1.) delusional to believe that we believers are/can be one with Christ or (2.) delusional to believe that we as believers are separated from Him? Is it delusional to believe that we are new creatures and partakers of a divine nature? 2 Pet. 1:4
Definition of a delusion: a false belief or opinion strongly held in spite of invalidating evidence, especially as a symptom of mental illness. Is it delusional to agree with Jesus or to disagree? Jesus prayed that we might be one with Him as He is one with the Father. He told the Samaritan woman, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:24 NKJV
I believe that many believers are like I was, mostly relating to God from my mind, ever learning more about Him, but seldom "meeting" with Him, in a real spirit to spirit encounter. When I was under pressure, I often felt like He was distant rather than inside. In these audios, learn how to identify separated thinking vs. one in spirit thinking. I say, "Jesus, if any believer can be one with You, I want it! Show me any way that I am thinking separated thoughts vs. one in spirit with you. Show me the reality of being one in spirit with You so I can agree with Your prayer in John 17 with my whole heart." In the HANDOUT with AUDIO 2, you will learn to identify important signs that you are thinking separated. You can also use the signs of thinking one in spirit with Him as a PRAYER LIST to agree with Jesus as He prays for oneness with all believers.
