NowFaith.TV Advanced Ministry Lesson # 25
Because Christ is in me, He is
Loving others through me

By popular request, today I am posting the other Dan Mohler videos/audios. It was life-saving for me to be in a "Christ in you" Bible study in the 1980s. I love to hear other ministers teach that Christ is really in us and is living through us. Dan Mohler and I believe that Romans 6 is literally true. I am a new creature in Christ and the old creature really passed away ... is dead ... never to raise again. In the Greek, Romans 7 says our battle is with our flesh (not my nature = who I am.)

Who am I? Do I really believe Jesus Christ loves others through me?
Print these affirmations and bless God by agreeing with Him everyday.

I readily agreed when Dan Mohler said, "My old man is dead and buried deep!" I am no longer a slave of sin (Romans 6) but I am called to be love - His love - to others as He lives through me. 1 John 1:4 If God loves us this much, ought we not to love one another? God has commanded me to be love to others and I can because He is love to others through me. I can't help but share other affirmations.

I bear fruits of righteousness, bearing the character of God, manifesting the Kingdom and nature of God to others. I am a cup filled with Him, outpouring Him - not for an "outreach" or a "program" but a life style our of who I really am according to God's Truth about me. Faith works through me by Love and prays for real needs.

We have the presence, power, anointing, gifts and fruit of Christ in us.
1 Cor 2:16b ... But we have the mind of Christ. NKJV

I have His mind and His eyes to see that there are sick people everywhere. I asked a man in the parking lot what was wrong, prayed for his knees and he was healed instantly. I prayed for a lady in the pet store who had worn splints for carpal tunnel for 6 years. Her pain was instantly gone, she had full range of motion back, kept her braces off and drove home without pain!

I no longer go into the "secret place of intimacy with God" as needy, incomplete or lacking. I receive what He has already given to me. I thank Him for dying to give me oneness, fullness, cleansing, forgiveness, trust, a new family, a new perfect Father and that He abides in me.

I no longer have to try to be a Christian in my own strength. I live out of my new identity of Christ living in and through me. He is love and He is love through me. (1 John 4:9) His love was manifested to me as He sent His son.

I live in victory because He has already taken my sin and my sin nature on the Cross. Because I have died with Him (to the power of sin) I am not perfect but I am free to live out of my spirit with is one with Him and to believe He is bringing my flesh to death on the Cross.

Repentance and remission of sin! Removal! He takes away sin.
Luke 24:46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. NKJV

I now know intimacy and oneness with Him with my new spirit. If He loves me, why let someone who doesn't love me rock me world? I no longer focus on sin and weakness, but I rejoice that He is always victorious, loving, giving, healing and serving through me. I am no longer sin conscious but Christ conscious.

Christianity is to "be the Church," vs. just going to church a building. 1 Cor. 6:17 says I am one spirit with Him. NO more separation. He abides in me with His love powered by His faith and His trust. I am primarily a spiritual creature living out of my new spirit. My relationship is personal not just mental assent with the historical Jesus, yet not trusting Him to live a supernatural life through me. Romans 7:1-6 says I am no longer married to the law of sin and death but I am married to Jesus. I no longer expect to be in bondage to sin but I walk in new freedom, knowing my mind, will and emotions are being renewed.

My prayer life will tell me who I am most conscious of. Is it Jesus? Spouse? Others? I know I must lose my life (old unsaved man) in order to find it (new man who is one with Christ.) Now I reckon my old man dead and do not resurrect him everyday. I used to resurrect my "old man" from the dead but now I am filled with true resurrection life in Jesus.

Mohler said, "If God loved like we do, He would be devastated by rejection, accusation and would need lots of counseling!!" We minister to Christians who are wallowing in self-pity vs. ministering to the unbeliever (who doesn't know Christ) who offended them. Jesus ministered to the messed up, sick and blind. He praised the publican who came to pray contritely and the thief on the cross who cried out for mercy on his last day.

He wants to fulfill the Great Commission through us.
Matt 10:7-8 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. NKJV

Do I minister a "gift" or who I am? I know longer define myself by an office call, gifting, talents, vocation, status, relationships, etc. I am surrendered to be an expression of Jesus Christ, in whatever way He wants to reach out to others regardless of the risk I must take and the repercussions to me.

Now that I am surrendered to "Love" I am fulfilled in Jesus Christ. He says you can't hurt love, offend love, or cause it to wallow in rejection because Love will just keep on loving! Where sin abounds, love abounds. Completeness isn't earning acceptance from human spiritual fathers; it's becoming love to the unlovely. When we were enemies and hated God, He came as a man to show us His love even more clearly!

Christianity is not work "for" Jesus but Jesus living the Christian life for me. Jesus transforms, changes me, indwells me and we together offer real restoration and healing to others. I no longer shrink from witnessing of His love and His life to others because His life manifests through me best to the most unlikely, in crises, adversity and infirmity.

Do I join in criticizing, worrying and complaining or do I encourage others to believe that they are complete in Christ? Do I sow seeds (Mark 4:26) of believing God to manifest through me? To intervene? Or do I wear Christian garments only on Sunday? Now I am a blessing others every day. I impart acceptance and unconditional love to the lost daily (vs. sit, soak and sour as I passively wait for the rapture.)

Darkness is not the issue; darkness is only the absence of light. Darkness never over takes light; light always overtakes darkness. I let my light shine in dark places and know that it shines more brightly in the darkest places! Be pure in heart and the Truth will come to light.

Kingdom living = like sowing seed = bringing belief where unbelief lives = bringing revelation where blindness prevails = finding the lost coin = looking for the one lost sheep.

The disciples didn't know who Jesus was at first but Jesus knew who they were: the passion of His heart! It was so important to Him for them to have "Life" that Jesus was willing to die that they might have life Him! When we were sinners, He took the pain; when we believe, He shares His glory!

The Great Commandment commands me to love others as myself. In Christ, I love others and I see Christ in others too. With His eyes, I see not only who I am in Him, I don't see others by their mistakes; their behavior or their old false identity either. I see others through restoration eyes, knowing Christ died and hoped people would not push His love and forgiveness away.

God humbled Himself to get to their hearts to heal and restore. Father sees their worth "in Jesus." I pray for others too, commanding spirits of infirmity to go the dry uninhabited places and believing they will never have these symptoms again! I plow sow and water, knowing God will pursue and draw them to Himself. He will address their reasons for running from Him. He will finish His pursuit and prepare their hearts.

If I criticize others, (I probably have been criticizing yourself) I am loving others like I love myself. Christ in me loves everyone the same. Everybody is a target for the love of God.

Now I love all others freely knowing Jesus is praying for everyone I will see today. Christ in me wants to pray for each and every person today. God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that WHOEVER believes in Him will not perish but will have equal opportunity to receive Him and eternal life.

Jesus wants to pour His fullness into our emptiness. Love is never selfishness and selfishness is never love. The evidence that I know God is that His love is flowing through me in good fruit and He is glorified. They know that I am in Him and He is in me by my love.
