As we go from glory to glory we find that we are being
freed from the lies
that have bound the church of the living God. What lies
you ask? Among the biggest lies that have been believed
is the lie that we have to be perfect. It may be unsaid
but if we admit that we have sin in our lives, observe
the reaction of the church. If the opinion of the body
of Christ changes about us (or if we are judged) when
they learn that we have challenges, it is an indicator
that religion is being practiced. What is religion?
Simply put, it is man’s efforts to please God with do’s
and don’ts instead of a relationship with Father God
based on receiving Jesus Christ to live His life through
them.. We cannot live in intimacy with Christ by keeping
rules and regulations or working it ourselves, for what
need of God would we have? Rom. 11:6 It is Jesus
Christ working Holiness in and through us by His grace.
What we can do is yield to Holy Spirit, ask for help,
and accept His help.
You can’t be changed until you want to be changed.
The first step is to recognize that we need changing.
We’re missing something that we know we need. Something
isn’t right; it’s not working like it should. God loves
the cry of surrender! He wants us to stop trying “our
way”. We can’t heal our hearts with our head and we
can’t have a spirit to spirit relationship out of our
heads. It’s beyond just getting into Heaven. We can
have the victory today in the here and now of this
life! We are to take authority over the things that are
not as it is in Heaven!
So how do we do it? We have to repent, change our
minds!
We need to ask forgiveness and forgive. We need invite
Jesus to heal our hurts. We need to renounce our
personal and generational sins. We have to break all
agreements with the devil and the power of darkness! We
need to really believe what we say we believe. Our God
is supernatural. He changes us through our supernatural
relationship with Him. We realize why we were created
in the first place, to be in relationship with our
Almighty God. We will then start to discern truth from
error and we start to break away from the lies we have
believed about our self and our identity. There is
hope! Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again to
show us that He wants to change us!
If we are to give God credit for what He is doing (and
will do),
we will battle from a place of victory and not defeat.
2 Cor. 2:14 We are winning! We win the war that we are
engaged in! We will give the body of Christ hope for
getting helped. We will make disciples of all men.
Deliverance ministry will not be for the few, but for
all Christians. We will love one another by knowing the
love of father and giving it away to others. We will
spiritually be Father and Mother to others and see them
changed by the Love of God. For instance, we will
actively love those going through divorce and not
partake in judging them. We can accomplish loving others
by meeting in small groups, Wayne says, being open to
Holy Spirit and letting Him lead.
Wayne
says change came to Him as he simply asked for it
and allowed Holy Spirit to lead him. As he let
God lead, God directed him to practice these five R’s
for transformation.

1. Repent-turn from your way to God’s way.

2. Release-turn it over to God—let go and let God.
·
3. Receive- Him and His glory.
·
4. Remind-yourself of who you are in Christ. See
yourself both seated together with Him in heavenly
places and here on earth. Eph 2:6

5. Rest-believe God has it handled.
Wayne has and continues to establish intimacy with Holy
Spirit
by a daily lifestyle of pursuit of Holy Spirit. This is
accomplished much the same as when a man is dating
(pursues) a woman. He spends time with her, does the
things she likes and talks with her. And with the Lover
of our soul we will break out into song, singing to Him
about His goodness, thrilled for another day to be in
His presence, as we realize He sings over us too.
Zeph 3:17 The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to
save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet
you with his love, He will rejoice over you with
singing.
We read His words of Love to us, pondering on them
(meditating).
And we listen for His voice, to hear what words of Love
He would say to us for each day. When we stay close to
the Lord, our Love is developed and Love will change
others. As we worship God in His glory we will walk in
Love, for we will be changed into His image. 2 Cor.
3:18
If God wants intimacy with us, and He does,
should we not look at the things that separate us from
Him? James 4:8 We need wisdom and those walking
in it for old mindsets to be broken as ungodly mindsets
are definitely separating those who believe in them from
God. Rom. 12:2 One revelation Wayne received was
to know God is God and I’m not. So, he
went to God, saying, God, you are working. What is of
you? What is not of you? He got quiet and listened,
realizing that God was speaking to him personally. As he
soaked and meditated on God’s Word and goodness, He
found God confirming those things that were of Him and
the things he needed to know.
Wayne found that acknowledging the demonic, dealing with
it,
repentance and forgiveness of self were very helpful in
removing blocks to intimacy with God. In going to Holy
Spirit, he also found that resisting temptations to get
into bondage and be frustrated were possible. Let us all
please our Lord and take Him out of the box and come to
Him as children, knowing nothing but expecting good from
the hand of our Father.
